PayOnce — last updated June 2026. The short version: your data stays on your device. This is a template; have it reviewed before production use.
Effectively nothing. PayOnce is local-first. The quotes you write, your customers' details, your business profile, and your price list are stored only on your own device's local storage. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them.
When you enter a customer's name, phone, email, or address, that stays on your device too. You — not PayOnce — are the custodian of your customers' information. Handle it responsibly.
If you make the one-time unlock purchase, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe or the app store). We do not store your card details; the provider handles that under their own privacy terms.
When you email or text a quote, that happens through your own email/messaging app. PayOnce hands the PDF to your device's share function and is not involved in the delivery.
The core app does not require accounts or tracking to function. If basic, privacy-respecting usage analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to say exactly what is measured.
You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app's local storage. Because the data lives on your device, deleting it is immediate and complete.
